At St. Paul we have organized our Church governance by establishing a Church Council. The Church Council, under the authority received from the voting membership and on its behalf, administers the affairs of the congregation. The Church Council is made up of the Pastor, President and Vice-President of the congregation and the leaders from each of our Commissions. The Elders assist the Pastor in caring for the Spiritual well being of the congregation. And our Commissions, which are a very active part of the spiritual life of our church... The Altar Guild is responsible for caring for and setting up the Altar in preparation for the Divine Service during the Church year. The Dorcas Aid-LWML is affiliated with the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML). The members of the Dorcas Aid are involved in fellowship and fund raising for missions all over the globe. The Education Commission works with the Pastor to supervise the educational programs of the congregation. There are many educational opportunities at St. Paul's, including Adult Bible Studies, Sunday School, Confirmation Class, Vacation Bible School (VBS) and Little Gospel Lights Pre-School. The Evangelism Commission plans and gets involved in bringing the Good News of the Gospel to the community around us. Evangelism is not just a commission at St. Paul, but a labor of love of all the members. Learn how to share Christ with a friend by being a part of the Evangelism Commission. Our Fellowship Commission plans and oversees the social and service oriented activities of the congregation. Our Property Commission is responsible for keeping the buildings and grounds at St. Paul in good order to Glorify God. The Stewardship Commission works to educate the congregation in the responsibilities of all Christians to support God's work at St. Paul's. Our Trustees have custody and control of all Church properties. The Worship Commission assists in the planning for worship, and oversees the Acolytes, Ushers and ensures the Divine Service is in good order. There is also a Senior Choir and Junior Choir for those who wish to make a joyful noise unto the Lord.
