Dorcas Aid

The Dorcas Aid is the official name for our local Lutheran Women's Missionary League at St. Paul's. The mission of the Dorcas Aid is to strengthen all women of our congregation in the faith and to a life of service locally and internationally. The Dorcas Aid has been in existence at St. Paul's for 83 years.

The Dorcas Aid is very active in our congregation, they spend time weekly sewing various items. They make quilts that are sent to the Lutheran World Relief, these quilts are used in disaster relief and other areas around the world in need of assistance due to environment situations and famine. Other items sewn are sold at a yearly Christmas Fair that is held in November, all proceeds of the event go to Lutheran Missionaries that serve the LCMS. The ladies of our church are also active hosting an annual Strawberry festival and hosting a number of Coffee Hours each year, especially the Coffee Hour for Confirmation Sunday.
