Pastor Kiesel: Clerical background
- Baptized on March
9th 1975 in the Lutheran Church of the Incarnation, Cedarhurst, NY.
- Bachelor's degree
in Theology from St. John's University in 1976.
- Masters degree in
Theology from the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Huntington, NY
in 1996.
- Two additional
Masters degrees (Masters in Social Work, and Masters in Special Education).
- Ordained a Deacon
on Dec, 13th 1997 in the Charismatic Episcopal Church.
- Ordained a priest
on June 13th 1998 in the Charismatic Episcopal Church.
- Served as a pastor
in the Charismatic Episcopal Church from 1998 to 2006.
- Appeared as a
guest on the Telicare television network and have spoken at many churches
throughout the area.
- Extensive training
in various forms of pastoral counseling, including individual, couples,
mental health, and addictions.
- Served as guest
speaker at many retreats.
- Attended Deacons
Class 2006-2007 at St. Lukes Lutheran Church Dix Hills, NY and studied The
Lutheran Confessions under Pastor Froehlich.
- Fully accepted to
serve as Pastor in the Atlantic District by Dr. Benke and Pastor Froehlich.
- Served as Lutheran
Chaplin at the Avalon Gardens Nursing home in Smithtown, NY.
- Served as supply
Pastor at St. John's Lutheran Church in Holbrook, NY where the call
committee expressed their desire to have me serve as permanent Pastor.
